What is a Social Media Manager?

Social media managers are in charge of representing a company across social channels as the sole voice of the brand. They respond to comments, compile campaigns and create content. These experts provide organizations with the guidance needed to enhance their online presence.

What does Social Media Manager does?

Social media managers are ordinarily responsible for developing strategies to increase followers, creating and overseeing social campaigns, producing content, reviewing analytics, and communicating with key stakeholders in a company.

As a social media manager, your specific responsibilities will depend on the size of your company. For example, while many social media managers at larger corporations typically approve copy or videos rather than create them, it’s common for social media managers at smaller companies to take on more content creation.

Clay’r as a Social Media Manager?

Social Media managers are people responsible for your social media sites, e.g (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc). They are responsible for posting, adding, or page growth, lead generating, responses to all messages, DM’s, PMs, and all queries. I am a Social Media Manager in which I know my client’s Social Media sites information like username and password. I post daily on her sites, edit images to post, create captions to post, lead generating, add friends and followers, send DM’s, or even respond to all customer’s queries. Yes! I do all of that, quite a bit challenging job since I have to be awake during night time since I am working for an American client. What’s hard here is that I am awake in the evening while sleeping in the morning. Yup! a vampire indeed. We even call ourselves “The Zombies.” Frustrating but the PAY is really good, especially if you have 2-3 jobs!
